What signing in gives us

We sign you in with Discord and read your Discord id, username and avatar hash. Nothing else — we do not post on your behalf, read your servers, or read your messages.

We store the avatar hash rather than a copy of the image, so changing your Discord avatar changes it here too and we are not holding a stale copy of your face.

How views are counted

When someone visits your profile we record a salted hash of their IP address and browser, never the address itself. The salt rotates daily, which is what makes the record useful for counting unique visitors and useless for tracking a person across time.

We also record the referring site and a two-letter country code. That is the whole of it.

Your files

Avatars, backgrounds, audio and cursors are stored by us and served from our own domain. They are public by nature — they appear on a public page — but they are never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train anything.

Deleting your account deletes them.

Third parties

Discord, for sign-in. Our hosting and database providers, because the site runs on them. Fonts are self-hosted rather than loaded from a font CDN, so no third party sees a request for every page view.

There are no advertising or analytics trackers on profiles.

Getting your data out, or removed

Email privacy@vengeance.bio and we will export or delete what we hold for your account.
